Returns & Refund Policy

At Dixie’s Diaries, every book and product is created with care and love — just like Dixie herself. We want you to feel confident shopping with us, and this Dixie’s Diaries Returns and Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds, and order issues are handled.

1. CHANGE OF MIND

Because our books are printed in small batches and many items are made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns.

Please choose carefully before placing your order.

If you’re unsure about anything, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to help before you buy.

2. PRE-ORDER PURCHASES

When you place a pre-order, you are reserving your copy ahead of release.

By pre-ordering, you acknowledge that:

  • Payment is taken immediately
  • Estimated release or delivery dates may change
  • Printing or freight delays can occur
  • Updates will be sent if timelines shift
  • Pre-orders are non-refundable, unless the product cannot be supplied.
3. FAULTY, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your order arrives:

  • damaged
  • faulty
  • misprinted
  • or incorrect

please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We may request photos so we can assess the issue and file a claim with the printer or courier.

Once the issue is confirmed, you will be offered:

  • a replacement, or
  • a refund, or
  • another solution mutually agreed upon

Replacement shipping will be covered by us if the issue was on our end.

4. LOST PARCELS

If your order does not arrive within the expected delivery window:
Contact us so we can lodge an investigation with the carrier.
If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Please note:
We cannot take responsibility for incorrect delivery information provided at checkout.

5. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Digital downloads are non-refundable once they have been accessed or downloaded.

If you experience a technical issue, please contact us, we’re happy to help ensure you receive your files.

6. RETURNS PROCESS

To start a return or report a problem, email:  admin@dixiesdiaries.com
Include:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos (if applicable)

We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
